Carl Herrero

Lead Field Superintendent

Born and raised in Mexico, Rafael came to the United States to pursue a better life for his family.

Hired as a piece worker in 2001, Rafael caught the attention of Ken Miks as a person who displayed the talent and hustle needed to go the distance in the construction industry. This led Ken to take an interest, and he began teaching him new things about the trade, as Rafael was eager to learn. In spite of a language barrier, things like layout, plating, and cutting stairs and roofs were picked up immediately by Rafael. Ken was also very impressed that Rafael was learning the English language so quickly. Rafael was fluent within 2 years. All of this hard work and determination on Rafael's part led to his promotion to Foreman in 2005. Since then Rafael has become a key factor in the success of our company, and he continues to grow in his knowledge and expertise as the company expands.

Married to his beloved wife Norma for sixteen years, they have two children, Karina and Estevan, whom they enjoy spending time with on days off.

Brian has been working in the building industry for 28 years, and started with Plate Line Framers Inc. in 2011. Born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio, Brian joined the United States Air Force after high school. After serving his country for 4 years, he decided to start a career in construction.

Starting as an apprentice, he then went on to become a production finish carpenter, and transferred to the framing division. In this realm he discovered that he had a great ability to frame homes, from layout to cutting roofs, and advanced quickly in all areas.

In 2011 he came on board as a Foreman for Plate Line Framers and is a trusted leader in the field. Brian and his wife Lisa recently welcomed a son, Aaron, to their family, and he also has a daughter, Macie, who is in her third year at Fresno State University.

Mario Silva Herrera

Foreman

Ken Miks refers to Mario as a team player and a company man. Standout qualities that Mario brings to the job are efficiency, punctuality, and the willingness to go the extra mile to make sure the job is done on time, and exactly to specifications. Hired at Plate Line in 2011, Mario started his construction career as a concrete worker, which evolved into carpentry, performing various duties such as laborer, apprentice carpenter, and lift driver. Mario says he " loves his job", and Plate Line Framers Inc. accredits much of their success to his skill and loyalty to the company.

In his spare time, his four wonderful children are his main focus and he is very happy to spend as much time as he can with them.
